Overview
Larastack is a free, open-use software product developed by CyberOrion.pk, led by Faizan Ilyas. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit Larastack.cyberorion.pk or use the Larastack software.
The Larastack desktop application itself collects zero data — it runs entirely offline on your machine. This policy applies only to our website.
What We Collect
When you visit our website, we may collect:
- Usage data: Pages visited, time on page, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL — collected anonymously.
- Contact form data: Your name, email address, and message when you contact us.
- Feedback/review data: Name, optional email, star rating, and review text when you submit a review.
- Download tracking: Timestamp and approximate location (country-level) when a download is initiated.
- Newsletter subscription: Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Account data: Name and email if you create an optional user account.
We do not collect payment information, sensitive personal data, or any data from the Larastack desktop application.
How We Use It
- To respond to your support requests and contact messages
- To display approved reviews on the website
- To track download statistics (aggregate, anonymized)
- To send newsletter updates if you opted in
- To improve the website and software based on usage patterns
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, or security threats
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on servers operated by CyberOrion.pk. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for data in transit. Account passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
We retain contact and support messages for up to 2 years. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely in aggregate form.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties except:
- When required by law or valid legal process
- To protect the safety and security of our users or the public
- With hosting/infrastructure providers under strict data processing agreements
Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies:
- Session cookie: Required for forms (CSRF protection) and login sessions

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
